This past Sunday was Mother’s Day. Actually, it was the 100th anniversary of Mother’s Day and it also happened to be my first! And of course, Jared made it a great one. Since Sundays are always so busy for us, he decided to spend most of the day Saturday loving on (and spoiling) me. He made a delicious breakfast and the best part of it? He did every single dish and then some that were leftover from the girls’ breakfast. Major brownie points. After giving me a gift basket full of awesome and some beautiful red sunflowers (that were cut two days before in California!), he sent me off to get a manicure and pedicure. It was great, but I think the best part of Mother’s Day was the sweet journal he gave me with notes from him and the girls (along with tiny little handprints). Oh, love. We had a great time celebrating with family as well! Overall, it was a pretty great weekend and one that I will always remember!
